Shuyin Zheng

predoc researcher & hobbyist of many things

Hi! I’m Shuyin, a predoc researcher at the HCI group of TU Wien. My work currently focuses on young people & everyday mobility. Further research topics include nature & technology, game design, and game-based learning in higher education. I also have a strong interest in urbanism, nature protection, and animal rights.

I have a background in Computer Science and Sinology, and have experience in academic research projects, teaching, and software engineering. I speak German, English and Chinese.

I like spending my free time playing (video- & board-) games, playing the piano, trying to play the cello, learning ÖGS (Austrian Sign Language), drawing + painting, and birding.
